The plant of the day(1): The spider plant

Good evening,

TheGreyHome is not about interior design: when i got home an hour ago, I had the idea to start a serie of reviews or posts about specific plants, so from time to time i'll chose a plant and list some of it benefits, and few tips for those who want to plant them.

Indoor gardening has been a hobby, some people think that indoor plants but that's totaly wrong. if you have to choose between sleeping in same room with and a plant, opt for a plant.
In addition, indoor plants can add an elegant green deocor touch to your house.

To start this series of posts, i decided to start with an indoor plant from Southern Africa: Chlorophytum Comosum ( the spider plant )

I have 3 containers of the spider plant, i can admit that they are easy to grow and good looking especially when they grow.
I have been reading the other day about their benefits in our houses, i found that NASA places this plant among the top 3 types of houseplants that are great at removing formaldahyde. Also removes carbon monoxide and other toxins or impurities.

The spider plant likes bright, indirect light and lots of water while growing, don't expose it to much sun, i did once and they faded. i water them one time per 2-3days. they just need water and indirect light.

How easy to grow : ****-
